It’s finally here! Tonight Alive’s debut album, What Are You So Scared Of? is out now! Prize: For completing this mission, you will receive a signed copy of What Are You So Scared Of?, plus if you completed the last mission you will receive a signed poster from the band.  We will also be picking 3 of you to win a pair of headphones from BOOM Movement Headphones!

Online Promotion

• iTunes
  • Go onto iTunes and create an account (if you haven’t already), and rate and review the new album. Give the album a 5 star rating and write a short review (2-3 sentences) about the album, your favorite songs, etc. Here’s an example: “I’m so excited this album is finally out!! I’ve been listening to ‘Starlight’ non-stop!”

  •  Vote for Tonight Alive’s What Are You So Scared Of? in the AP Readers chart. (http://www.altpress.com/ap_readers_chart). Talk up the album as much as you can, referencing song titles and promoting the band.

  •  Update your Facebook profile to the “Timeline” layout.  On Tonight Alive’s Facebook page, they have a “cover” photo album that you can take photos from and post onto your profile.  Set one of the photos as your cover and include the album info in your caption.  (1 screenshot)

  •  Make a creative post on Tumblr that promotes the release of the album.  Make sure you include the link to the album in your post and that you have the following tags: #tonight alive, #fearless records, & #what are you so scared of? (1 screenshot)

  • For this contest, make an account on Polyvore and create outfits for the members Tonight Alive using Tilly’s clothing and Van’s shoes.  
  • Contest Requirements
    • Each entry will consist of one outfit
    • Contestants may make unlimited entries
    • Outfit must include:  1 top, 1 bottom, at least two accessories, Vans shoes, a picture of the band, and  What Are You So Scared Of? album artwork
    • Submit entries to Fearless Records’ Polyvore page

Street Promotion

  • Using your cell phone, take a photo of the album at a music retail store (i.e. Best Buy, Hot Topic, etc.) and post to Instagram. If you don’t have Instagram, use twitpic, or use the regular “Share Photo” option and post it to Facebook. (1 screenshot)
  • When you post your picture, make sure to tag Tonight Alive and say you bought the album. Here’s an example: “I just got the new @Tonight Alive album at Hot Topic!”

  • Listening Stations – Go to your local Hot Topic store (if you have one) and pull up Tonight Alive on the in-store listening station. By doing this, you will make sure that future viewers can see and listen to What Are You So Scared Of?  (1 picture)
  • Go to a music retail store and put a copy of What Are You So Scared Of? in the front of the CD rack, so that other customers see the CD first.

Hey Everyone!

As many of you already know, Tonight Alive recently signed with Fearless Records.

The band just released a new EP called Consider This in the U.S. and Canada on November 8, and they will follow that up with a full-length titled: What Are You So Scared Of? on February 14th 2012.
