Prize: For completing this mission, you will receive a signed copy of What Are You So Scared Of?, plus if you completed the last mission you will receive a signed poster from the band.  We will also be picking 3 of you to win a pair of headphones from BOOM Movement Headphones!

Online Promotion

  • Go onto iTunes and create an account (if you haven’t already), and rate and review the new album. Give the album a 5 star rating and write a short review (2-3 sentences) about the album, your favorite songs, etc. Here’s an example: “I’m so excited this album is finally out!! I’ve been listening to ‘Starlight’ non-stop!”

  •  Vote for Tonight Alive’s What Are You So Scared Of? in the AP Readers chart. (http://www.altpress.com/ap_readers_chart). Talk up the album as much as you can, referencing song titles and promoting the band.

  • Using your cell phone, take a photo of the album at a music retail store (i.e. Best Buy, Hot Topic, etc.) and post to Instagram. If you don’t have Instagram, use twitpic, or use the regular “Share Photo” option and post it to Facebook. (1 screenshot)
  • When you post your picture, make sure to tag Tonight Alive and say you bought the album. Here’s an example: “I just got the new @Tonight Alive album at Hot Topic!”

Warped Tour

Tonight Alive is playing the entire Warped Tour this summer which is HUGE! Check out the bands profile on the Warped Tour website (http://vanswarpedtour.com/band/tonight-alive).

•   If you haven’t done so already, make a profile on the Warped Tour website and comment on Tonight Alive’s Profile. Here’s an example: “I can’t wait to see Tonight Alive in Pomona!! They’re so good!” (1 screenshot)

•  Tonight Alive posted a Warped Tour announcement video which you can watch here:http://www.Youtube.com/watch?v=k5HVtNurlsw. Post this on Facebook and Twitter with a status about how excited you are.  Make sure you tag the band & Warped Tour in your posts. (2 screenshots)

New Album, “What Are You So Scared Of?”

We want you guys promoting the new album and letting your friends know where they can purchase the album.  Utilize your social network pages to spread the word.

•  On your Facebook, post both of the music videos that the band has released.  Make sure your status tags the band and mentions when the album comes out. An example of a status could be: “I love this new video by @Tonight Alive! Can’t wait for their new album to come out on Feb 14th!” (2 screenshots, 1 for each video)

•  Share link to album pre-orders on your Facebook page.  Make sure you tag the band and mention when the album comes out. (1 screenshot)

MTV Album Stream

MTV Will be streaming What Are You So Scare Of?  this week. (http://buzzworthy.mtv.com/2012/02/07/tonight-alive-what-are-you-so-scared-of-album-stream/) This is a great opportunity for the band to be exposed to new fans.  We want to make sure MTV knows the fans appreciate this awesome coverage.  

•  On your two social networks with the most followers (This could be Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, or wherever you have the most subscribers) post at least two messages (one for each site) about the new album streaming on MTV.com.  Make sure you tag the band in your post and tell your fans where to pick up the album. •  Go to the MTV.com page where the album is streaming (http://buzzworthy.mtv.com/2012/02/07/tonight-alive-what-are-you-so-scared-of-album-stream/) and log in (you may have to make a profile if you do not have one) and comment on the album stream. An example could be: “This album is so good! I didn’t know Mark Hoppus sang on Thank You & Goodnight!” (1 screenshot)

Release Day Mission

In addition to completing these tasks, there will be a mission that goes up on Feb 14th with the release of the album.  You will be expected to complete these tasks too to receive your prize.  For you extra effort we will also be giving a signed Tonight Alive poster to each of you. 

Poster Send Outs

For everyone who signs up for this mission, we will send out at least 5 posters for you to put up in high traffic areas (venues, music stores, coffee shops, etc.). This is one of the best ways to promote, so we want to put these up everywhere. Try and hang them at places that a lot of people will see. Good examples include: Hot Topic, Guitar Center, Local Record stores, Local music stores, etc. You will turn in the pictures along with the “Release Day Mission”.  (5 pictures)

Tonight Alive

Hey Everyone!

As many of you already know, Tonight Alive recently signed with Fearless Records.

The band just released a new EP called Consider This in the U.S. and Canada on November 8, and they will follow that up with a full-length titled: What Are You So Scared Of? on February 14th 2012.
